Concerned about global warming and the harmful over-consumption of paper and plastic bags, Denver resident Jan Ramos founded BaggyShirts in July 2007. She and business partner/next-door neighbor Dana Miller have developed an alternative to disposable, single-use bags. BaggyShirts are multi-purpose, reusable bags made from recycled shirts.

BaggyShirts owners and artisans work from home, slashing carbon emissions by 95% over a daily round-trip drive.

These LOCAL artisans are paid an above-average wage for their industry.

The entire shirt is used; nothing is wasted in the process.

Unlike most reusable bags, BaggyShirts are not made from petroleum-based materials in overseas sweatshops and then imported.

BaggyShirts labels are made with water-based ink.

BaggyShirts use no product packaging.
