REUSABLE TOTE BAGS MADE FROM RECYCLED SHIRTS BAG TO THE FUTURE! WINNER OF WESTWORD'S 2008 AWARD FOR BEST USE OF AN OLD SHIRT!! Concerned about global warming and the harmful over-consumption of paper and plastic bags, Denver resident Jan Ramos founded BaggyShirts in July 2007. She and business partner/next-door neighbor Dana Miller have developed an alternative to disposable, single-use bags. BaggyShirts are multi-purpose, reusable bags made from recycled shirts.
“I used my BaggyShirts reusable grocery bags at the store today. I got everything into two bags, and I bought a lot of stuff!” Lynda Parker |
